a little about me...
As a mid career GP I have extensive generalist knowledge managing chronic disease and the interplay with our whole selves. The thing I have come to realise is listening is what matters most, the patient’s story is so key to revealing what is going on be it in the physical sphere or where there is overlap into areas of psychological, social or spiritual need. In addition the ongoing relationship between a GP and patient is where a lot of the proven benefit comes and I look forward to working with you as we navigate your health journey.
I have a particular interest in mental health, I was the mental health lead for Lincolnshire in a previous role giving me deeper insight into strategies for supporting patients.
For some patients my time serving in the Royal Air Force for 10 years will also be relevant in helping me understand their health context.
